Our story

The first time our co-founder Anika sat down to use her son's school's ERP, the login screen looked like it had been printed on dot-matrix. Fees couldn't be paid online. Attendance came as a paper note. The "smart class" was a TV in the corner showing low-resolution PowerPoints.

This was 2021. Her phone had a camera that could take pictures of the moon. Her bank let her wire money to Singapore in 30 seconds. But her child's school, the place that would shape his next 14 years, was running on technology from before Wikipedia existed.

So Anika did what engineers do: she got annoyed enough to build something better. She teamed up with Vikram (a teacher of 18 years) and Rohan (an ex-Razorpay engineer). Three years later, Indika School powers 1,200+ schools across 14 countries — and we're just getting started.

What we believe
